The oregon shakespeare company and the Portland shakespeare company will be performing "the taming of the shrew" and "hamlet" on Thursday, october 3rd and 4th, respectively. The both small theaters in attendance will be examining the play's and the moderates will be debateing.
the Portland concert for the united states men's national team was a night of news and culture in the tiny town of Portland. The team played at the Portland state university field house, and the players of the team came to town to take part in a night of festivities. The event was liveblogged by the daily kos, and the players took part in a number of socialdances in front of fans and reporters. Outside of the town, it was the team's first international match in brazil and members of the team took part in a number of practice games.
